Following its success in 2008, the Waikanae Golf Club will again host the very popular Pro Am tournament that will be run under the auspices of the Professional Golfers’ Association of New Zealand. The naming rights sponsor is Quinovic Property Management who have agreed to underwrite the tournament. The event will take place on 9 February,2010.
The Quinovic Waikanae Golf Club Pro Am Golf Classic will be the first NZPGA Order of Merit tournament to be held in 2010 and will attract 50 of the top NZPGA golfers.
As well as being a key vehicle for the development of New Zealand’s up and coming professional golfers, the tournament will also provide for participation by local corporates and individuals.
In addition to our principal sponsor, Quinovic, there will be 17 other hole sponsors and 11 individual team sponsors.
Sponsors may purchase naming rights to individual holes 2-18. Hole #1 has
already been taken by our naming sponsor.
Teams of 3 as well as individuals may enter.
Tournament Format will consist of
- A single professional Tournament
- A Team Event with the best two individual scores on each hole to count.
(Team includes one professional and three amateurs.)
