WEATHER

  • There has only been 22mm of rain recorded for this month.

GREENS

  • They have been sprayed with wetting agent, fungicide, and then fertilized.
  • Greens were verti-cut and then top-dressed with sand, then drag-matted.
  • Greens were double cut every day the week leading up to the Pro-Am and then cut and rolled on the morning.

COURSE GROOM

  • Fertilise Fairways
  • Fertilise tees
  • Weed-eat Tee banks and streams also Ponds
  • Spray paths and around trees with Round up
  • Paint Tee marker Pads
  • Spray o/b lines and Drop Zones
  • Clean and mow around driving nets
  • Weed-eat and fly-mow all bunkers
  • Mid-mount hills at 120mm high
  • Check and paint o/b pegs
  • Streams were flail mowed
  • Groom and push mow bunkers then rake
  • Trim and edge concrete nibs
  • Cut around sprinklers on greens, fairways, tees and drain boxes plus valve box
  • Fairways were cut weekly.
  • Tees were cut Mondays and Thursdays and tee pads were trimmed around and painted.
  • Surrounds were cut weekly with the fairway mower.
  • Rough was cut three times this month.
  • The tees and surrounds plus par three key ways and fairways have been fertilized.
  • All trees around the course have been sprayed around for weeds.
  • New flags on the greens were replaced.
  • The willows beside the 3rd fairway were trimmed.
  • All bridges around the course were swept down.

MACHINERY

  • The 3050 greens mower units will be sent to Parklands this month for new base-plates and reel grind.
  • The 5510 fairway mower needs eight bearings replaced on the two back units.
  • Order and replace light

NEXT MONTHS’ AGENDA

  • Cut down two pines for fire- wood by 11th pond.
  • Contour and turf the old bunker at the back of the 10th green.
  • Remove old 4th blue tee and lay existing turf back down.
